My Custom Collages
I would describe my collage style as unique at best. I’ve always loved taking old images, photographs, textures, and found pieces and cutting them apart, rearranging them, and bringing them together to create something completely new. For me, it’s less about simply making a collage and more about creating a story within each piece.
A lot of the original images I work with can look too clean, too polished, too good—or sometimes completely out of place with one another. Instead of seeing that as a problem, I decided to create my own collection of Photoshop filters and treatments to give everything a sense of consistency.
That extra layer is what brings the piece together. By changing the tones, textures, contrast, and overall feel of the individual images, they begin to feel like they belong in the same world. What started as a collection of unrelated photographs and elements slowly becomes one cohesive artwork.
I love the process of cutting, layering, experimenting, and finding unexpected connections between images. Every piece develops its own personality and, most importantly, tells its own story.
That’s what makes my custom collages unique—taking pieces from different places and different moments and turning them into one visual story.
